Tasmania pitches 50% live music rebate for pubs and clubs
The Tasmanian government has proposed a scheme that would pay pubs and clubs back half of what they spend on live music, in a move that could set a national precedent for venue support. The ALMBC backs these kinds of simple ideas and is happy to provide any kind of support to enable these kinds of opportunities across the continent.

ALMBC Backs APRA AMCOS - Creators are Not a tech Subsidy
The Australian Live Music Business Council is backing the APRA AMCOS open letter to government, which makes a simple case: Australia’s creators are not a free input for big tech, and their work should not be used without permission or payment.
